A rectification of Lifts Directive Recast 2014/33/UE regarding the text in the Italian Language has been published in the OJEU L 30/42 on 6 February 2015.
The European Commission adopted the proposal for a Regulation on Cableways in March 2014 that reflects the discussion with the MSs and the stakeholders and the outcomes of the impact assessment study. The proposal is under consideration by the European Parliament and the Council.
If the adoption takes place in the second semester of 2015, in this case, the Regulation will be applicable in 2017, after a two-year transitional period, to allow manufacturers, notified bodies and Member States to adapt to the new requirements.
